The Energoinvest ReachActive (ERA) incorporated joint venture was established with the objective of exploiting a high growth potential in the Irish Power markets. In Ireland, Energoinvest Reach Active is a long term framework contractor for the Electricity Supply Board.

ERA work within these principal areas of HV Power:

• Substations up to 400kV
• Transmission lines up to 400kV
• Underground ducting and cabling up to 400kV
• EV hubs and charging points
• Design and build 38kV substation in Ireland

In the UK Reach Active has active ICP frameworks with SSE for Power Cable & Ducting and Substations up to 132kV and an EV Renewables framework for EV hubs and charging points.

Also, in the UK Reach Active operates as an Independent Connections Provider (ICP) and delivers power projects by virtue of its National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) accreditation. Reach Active is extensively delivering network connection projects in the Greater and Central London areas for a number of significant private developers.

Both Reach Active and ERA offer a full turnkey capability which includes Feasibility, Detail Design, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Testing and Commissioning.

Renewable Energy and Sustainability

Most of the world’s governments have made serious commitments to net-zero emissions. The electricity grid will provide the backbone for a transformed; net zero energy system that will include more renewable energy sources; wider adoption of electric vehicles; solar generation and storage. Reach Active fully supports government aims to reduce CO2 emissions. Our capabilities in both electrical and civil engineering make us a perfect delivery partner for all renewable energy sources that require a connection to a local network for the export of electricity. Reach Active holds the required accreditations and would deal directly with the electricity company on your behalf. Once planning and consents have been approved and connection offers are in place, we are able to carry out the initial design of the connection to the local networks, through to final commissioning. Reach Active also offers services for the construction of access roads, groundworks and perimeter fencing.
